Natural stone
Natural products from Danish production since 1988.
Caring for your natural stone
Natural stone naturally contains calcium. Therefore, you should not use acid, as this dissolves the calcium and there is a risk of decimating the stone's natural calcium content. In this case, the sink will become white, rough, and uneven.
How to clean and care for your natural stone sink:
Before you begin, you should have the following ready: micare cleaning soap - scouring pad/brush - microfiber cloth - polishing cloth. (Polished stones must be re-polished)
- Start by cleaning the sink with the cleaning soap and the included Oeko-Tex certified sponge. If the sink is heavily soiled, use the rough side of the scouring pad.
- Rinse off dirt and soap thoroughly.
- Dry the sink with a clean, lint-free cloth.
- Finally, apply a very thin layer of care product in circular motions.
- Polished surfaces should be re-polished with a dry, lint-free cloth.
- The sink is now ready for use again.
How long it remains in this condition depends on usage. With daily use, a treatment should be carried out approximately every three weeks.
We recommend rinsing the sink with warm water for daily cleaning. For heavy soiling, clean the sink with the cleaning soap, which is alkaline and particularly suitable for natural stone. If dirt and limescale accumulate, it's time for a new treatment.
The procedure is the same for all natural stone objects in the bathroom, coffee tables, benches, sculptures, and similar objects.
Types of natural stone: Silgranit, composite material, marble, granite, travertine, mosaic, sandstone, grasolite, graphalite, and more.
