Care for the sink

Limescale deposits and stains can easily build up in your sink, causing it to lose its original shine. Avoid using harsh chemicals, as they can damage the surface and cause discoloration or unevenness. Instead, use Micare cleaning soap to remove limescale and stains without damaging the sink. To maintain the clean, beautiful look, then apply Micare balm, which helps to protect the surface and enhance its natural color. This way, the sink will look like new again.

Here is our recommendation on how to clean and care for your sink:

Before you begin, you should have the following ready:

Micare Cleaning Soap – Micare Balm – Scouring Pad/Brush – Microfiber Cloth – Polishing Cloth.

  • Clean the sink with Micare cleaning soap and the included Oeko-Tex certified sponge.
For stubborn dirt or deposits, use the rough side of the scouring pad.
  • Rinse off the soap and dissolved dirt thoroughly.
  • Wipe the sink dry with a clean, lint-free cloth.
  • Finally, apply a very thin layer of balm in circular motions.

Your sink is now ready for use again.

How long the result lasts depends on usage.
For daily use, we recommend repeating the treatment approximately every 3 weeks.

For daily cleaning, simply rinse with warm water.
If the sink is heavily soiled, clean with the cleaning soap.
Once dirt or limescale accumulates on the surface again, it's time for a new treatment.
